British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
